Your Questions, Answered

  • Mobile visits are available in Newton and surrounding counties. Mobile visits are conducted in the comfort of your home, affording you convenience and privacy. Your visit will include a comprehensive clinical interview and physical assessment. If warranted, point of care tests (i.e. strep, flu, covid, mono, urinalysis) will be performed. We are committed to developing evidence-based personalized treatment plans for your medical needs while saving you the hours typically spent in a clinic waiting room.

  • We offer transparent, flat-rate pricing based on the type of care you receive: Virtual Visits are $50, Sports Physicals are $85, DOT Physicals are $150 and Mobile In-Home Visits are $150. Please note that these base rates cover the consultation and clinical assessment; additional costs apply for medications administered or labs performed during your visit.

  • Our virtual care model is designed to mirror an in-office clinical assessment. After you book your appointment, you will receive a secure link to our digital exam room. During the visit, we conduct a comprehensive clinical interview and a visual physical exam. We assess your symptoms, medical history, and current medications to develop a personalized treatment plan—all in real-time.

  • Yes. For the acute conditions we treat—such as respiratory infections, skin rashes, or eye issues—clinical guidelines allow for high-accuracy diagnosis through visual inspection and "Review of Systems" (targeted medical questioning). If our provider determines that your condition requires a hands-on physical maneuver (like a lung auscultation or a strep swab), we will ethically refer you to our mobile service or your nearest in-person facility to ensure clinical safety.

  • Yes, DOT medical exams and Sports physicals will require an in-person visit.

Additionally, on a case by case basis, vulnerable populations (i.e. children, non-verbal individuals) that may benefit from “hands-on” validation and examination will be offered an in-person visit. This allows us to provide the required "hands-on" validation for the safety and benefit of the patient.

  • We utilize a secure, encrypted platform that exceeds Federal HIPAA requirements. Unlike standard video apps, our "digital front door" is purpose-built for healthcare. Your medical records, intake forms, and video consultations are stored in a protected environment that is never shared with third parties without your explicit authorization.

  • If a diagnosis is made that requires medication, we transmit the prescription electronically to your preferred local pharmacy. As a general practice, we do not prescribe controlled substances (narcotics). Our focus is on acute recovery through clinically appropriate non-controlled medications.

Can I get a refill for my regular medications? We offer 30-day "bridge" refills for maintenance medications (such as blood pressure or cholesterol medicine) to ensure you don’t experience a gap in care. This service is intended for patients who are between primary care visits. For long-term management of chronic conditions, we require that you maintain an ongoing relationship with a traditional primary care provider.

  • Patient safety is our primary virtue. If your chief complaint includes a service we do not provide, you will be informed and directed to the appropriate healthcare setting (i.e. primary care, specialist, urgent care).  If our provider identifies "red flag" symptoms—such as chest pain, neurological deficits, difficulty breathing, or severe dehydration—we will immediately direct you to emergency services as warranted.
